After repeated summons by the CBI, the former roommate of Sushant Singh Rajput, Siddharth Pithani, was arrested yesterday in Hyderabad. It comes just weeks before the first anniversary of the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, who reportedly died by suicide last year. June 14 and a PNE investigation has since been underway to get to the bottom of the matter.
Speaking about the CBI’s process to resolve the case, Sushant’s family attorney Vikas Singh said: “CBI wouldn’t like to rush to file a complaint or file something that will make a big deal out of it. They are looking into multiple angles and murder is also one. You see that SSR’s death is always shrouded in mystery and there are no two ways to solve it. Unless you unravel the mystery, there is no point in solving it. nothing to tell a half-baked story and that’s why they’re taking their time and I’m totally optimistic something will come out soon. ”
He further spoke about the arrest of Siddharth Pithani and said: “I am hopeful that they will be able to unravel the mystery and work on it, let’s keep our fingers crossed. Regarding the arrest of Siddharth Pithani, it’s kind of poetic justice that he at least went to jail. I’ve been saying this for a very long time that he should be arrested and the reason was that he was there with Sushant when Rhea Chakraborty left and the day Sushant was found dead. Siddharth was the one who opened the room and it was he who called the locksmith and was the one who lowered the actor’s body, so it is very crucial for the case in any way, whether it’s murder or incitement to suicide, he will certainly get him involved in it.
